A travel into the past. This is a reflection of the struggle of the black race for survival,equality etc. The 2 portraits are a representation of who we are - royals,warriors, and survivors.  We need to picture ourselves as royals, warriors and survivors. I have depicted the ongoing battle with warriors in the background holding shields, spears. The figures all around the painting is an indication for blacks to come together. The traditional xylophone on the lower right sums it up. It is made of straps of wood joined together with strings and underneath are gourds of various sizes all tied together which when played produces that rich sound.
